Collagen type II is a crucial protein which forms the cartilage in joints – contributing to flexibility and shock absorption, which helps your horse to stay supple and move with ease. Studies have shown that UCII has the added power to help reverse the early onset of osteoarthritis by targeting and restoring damaged cells. Collagen type I is an essential part of the structural formation of the bones, skin, tendons, blood vessels and other connective tissues. Glucosamine has been shown to assist the production and maintenance of cartilage, and support the body’s natural synovial fluid production, thus allowing for smoother movement of joints and ligaments. Whilst chondroitin sulphate helps to regenerate and maintain healthy cartilage, and Vitamin C supports optimum health. PrimeVal Gelatinaat® Powder supports the musculoskeletal system in horses and ponies, whilst promoting normal functioning of the immune system during and after strenuous exercise. Instructions
ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LABEL BEFORE USE. Give 25g (one level spoon) twice daily. For horses under 2 years of age, ponies and foals, use half the dose. Using the spoon provided, sprinkle the required amount over the feed. The recommended daily amount can be doubled during periods of heavy work or to support recovery following an injury.
